Final thoughts
As you can see, Midjourney does a great job at emulating these cinematic styles. My first pass at these I simply used ‘[Subject][Cinematic Style] cinematography style’ in the prompt. The results were mixed, with as many successes as fails. I then switched to using a more descriptive prompt, and the results stepped up a gear. Midjourney really does respond better when using more descriptive language.
