Takeaways
Change of name to AI Art and Animation.
Emails on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Still 5 quality image prompts a week, but now with additional content: Gen AI news, tools, and more, all related to creating great AI art and animations.
Prompt Hackers is growing
It’s just over a year since I launched Prompt Hackers, and thanks to you, we’ve come a long way. At the time of writing, my total subscriber count is over 2,000 and the growth has way exceeded any expectations I had.
As we glide into 2024, the continued pace at which generative AI evolves is nothing short of breathtaking. It's with this backdrop of relentless innovation that I've decided it's time for a tweak in how we do things here at Prompt Hackers.
The Changes
Rebranding
The biggest change is that I’m rebranding. From next week Prompt Hackers will become 'AI Art and Animation'. More of a mouthful, I know, but I it more accurately reflects what the newsletter will cover.
Post Frequency
I’ll be switching to three posts a week rather than five. Don’t worry, there will still be 5 quality image prompts for you each week: Monday (1 prompt), Wednesday (2 prompts) and Friday (2 prompts). So less frequent, but still the same number of prompts.
More Content
I'm spicing things up by weaving in summaries of GenAI news articles. You can also expect to see recaps of Midjourney Office Hours, along with the latest scoops on AI tools for images and animations, and occasional walkthroughs.
This adjustment is all about enriching our journey through this fascinating realm of AI artistry. I aim to keep you at the cutting edge, fuelling your passion and expanding your toolkit in this ever-evolving landscape.
Housekeeping
Now, for a bit of housekeeping. Traditionally, I've packed each prompt with 7 or 8 example images, maxing out what Substack lets us get away with. With the new additions, I'll need to dial the example images back to 4 or 5 per prompt. I believe the trade-off is worth it, bringing more depth and breadth to the newsletter. And don't worry, the essence of Prompt Hackers remains unchanged. My goal is to ignite your creativity and encourage you to push boundaries. Let's keep the experimental spirit alive 😃
I’m also tweaking the titles, adding a number and short description [I can’t believe that this is number 512!].
The url
And lastly, the new url for the newsletter will be: aiartandanimation.substack.com. You can also point your browser to aiartandanimation.com, or if you are feeling particularly nostalgic, prompthackers.ai will also get you there.
*** The branding and url changes will take effect from tomorrow, Sunday, ready for the new, fuller newsletter on Monday. ***
As always, I welcome your thoughts, and I look forward to developing our ai art and animations skills together.
Cheers, Andy
Congratulations on your success, Andy! Onwards and upwards. These sound like great improvements . ❤️
